The Loop neighborhood is primarily known as the Financial District in Chicago (which several corporations and business call home), but the neighborhood in recent years has become a popular living destination due to it’s proximity to parks, theater, and of course work.
Perhaps the best attribute to this neighborhood is it’s proximity to one’s work as well as to 2 of Chicago’s best parks. The Chicago Stock Exchange as well as hundreds of major corporations and businesses call the Loop their home so the neighborhood equates to a commuters dream. The neighborhood isn’t all concrete though, as the east border is all green with famed Millenium Park (home of “The Bean”) and Grant Park. These provide for plenty of outdoor activities, large music festivals, and free concerts in the park.
Another popular attraction to the Loop is that it is the home of Chicago’s Theater District. With several theaters including The Cadillac Theater, Goodman Theater, The Chicago Theater, The Oriental Theater, and Harris Theater there is no end to the variety of shows one can see in this great neighborhood.
Want to grab a drink or a bite to eat? Don’t forget to stop into some great bars and restaurants including Sweetwater Tavern & Grille, Petterino’s, Rosebud Theater District, Catch 35 Restaurant, Berghoff Restaurant, and Prime & Provisions Steakhouse.
Lastly, another great shopping district resides in the Loop with both the Shops on State and Block 37 shopping centers sure to make a day shopping a memorable one.
If you are looking for convenience and a commuters dream then look no further than the Loop neighborhood for your next home!!
